While still new to the film-acting scene, Ryan has made strong headway in the past two years. He has starred in over a dozen short films, a Nickelodeon MOW, and even co-starred in two network TV shows; Medium (NBC) and All of Us (CW). He just shot his first lead in a feature film last June and his first pilot in September. Look for the film in 2010, along with (hopefully) a new Nickelodeon show.

For this film, Ryan played twin brothers. Because Charles was bearded, he had to shoot out his scenes in the first day and a half, then shave and transition into Drew for the following two and a half days. As a result, there were up to three days separating his reactions and scene work from himself. And since it was all shot on 16mm, there was no playback. He had to rely entirely on his memory of the performance and the skill of his photo-double. |
